The Times LitFest 2015 recently held in Mumbai, featured one of the best minds in the literary and cultural circuit. We at Pantaloons had the pleasure of attending the fest and be witness to all its myriad forms. Apart from being a feast to budding literary enthusiasts and a dynamic cultural get-together, it was a fashion extravaganza with the latest trends and styles all in one place.
Here is a look at some of the best line-ups and dress codes:
The women from writers, to socialites to aspiring minds were dressed to dazzle in bright hues or subtle blues, prints are big this season with emphasis on geometric and abstract motifs. A shift towards indo-fusion was observed with a focus on fine textiles and contemporary draping methods for sarees. Accessories were kept to the bare minimum with hoop, stud earrings and dainty neck pieces with tribal twists.
The men on the other hand were seen sporting a mix of styles. Ranging from casual-spunk to indo-fusion. Casual shirts and jeans were the observed norm, with others going in for cotton kurtas in various shades teamed with nehru jacket.
All in all the event was a mélange of great style, culture and the love of reading.
